The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is the
fifth iteration of the Note Series by Samsung. To the dismay of many consumers
loyal to the note series, the Galaxy Note 5 has been released not including
some of the capabilities in which its predecessors where highly favored because
of. Samsung’s new device does not include the capability of micro sd expansion,
nor a removable battery. If you were to take a closer look at the device, you
may realize where much is loss, possibly more could be gained?
Specifications
The Galaxy Note 5 still sport a 5.7
inch amoled display, which is 1440x2650 pixels, and has a pixel density of 518
pixels per inch, very impressive for a 5.7 inch screen. The rear camera is 16
megapixels, and is equipped with optical image stabilization, and front facing
camera is a sharp 5 megapixels. The pictures that the Note captures are the
best in the smartphone game, just ahead of the LG G4. The octa-core processor
combined with 4 gb of ram make for a smooth and blazing fast touchwiz
experience. The 3000 mah battery powers the device for a day of mid-range use,
but not being removable a power bank will come in handy. In short, the Galaxy
Note 5 sports all the best specs compared to any smartphone.
The Verdict
The
only short fall is the missing ir blaster, which I utilized heavy on my Samsung
Galaxy Note 4. S-pen features are becoming a stronger tool for productivity.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is the most premium android device I
have ever owned. The build surpasses the build of any phone, including iPhone.
The hardware makes this device an extreme power house, and makes easy work of
Samsung’s Touchwiz user interface.
This is a very thorough review, including both pros and cons. You have persuaded me to trade in my Note 4 for the Note 5. Keep up the good work.
